What to Expect When You Come
Front entrance to the church
Parking and Handicapped Access
We have two areas of parking, an upper lot and a lower lot. The upper-level parking lot has a ramp to access the front of the church easily. There is a small parking area for handicapped or other needs to the Fellowship Hall next to the brick parsonage.
Handicapped parking is right next to the ramp and the front door.
What Should I Wear?
Folks at First Twelve Mile Baptist dress comfortably for worship. Men typically wear jeans, polos, and suits. Women wear pants, jeans, dresses, or skirts.
We don't worry about what you are wearing, we are just glad you are here!
What about Children?
Your children are welcome here! They can sit with you or there is a nursery upstairs on the second floor for babies through early elementary school-aged children during the church worship service.
There is also a private nursing mother's room at the end of the hall through the door left of the sanctuary. It is marked "Nursery."
Sunday mornings 9:30-10:30 am
We also have Sunday School classes available for all ages. Elementary aged children and younger go upstairs to the classrooms.
Youth, Singles, and Adults go to the basement Fellowship Hall for Sunday School.
There is a second adult class through the door of the santuary, to the left and down the hall.
Wednesday Evening Bible Study & Children's Program
Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm we have an informal Bible Study in the basement Fellowship Hall. There is a Children's Program as well at this time.
Restrooms are located on through the door to the left in the sanctuary and also in the Fellowship Hall in the basement.
The Church Bell
A real church bell is rung every Sunday! You will see the rope that is used to ring the bell on the left as you enter through the front door! The bell is located in the church's bell tower.
It's a wonderful sound to hear when it's time to worship the Lord!
